The fourth annual Scholars’ Dinner features the leading American art scholars of today and the emerging American art scholars of tomorrow

All proceeds from the event underwrite the annual Cole Fellowship at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site

Continuing the important work that Thomas Cole began as a mentor and leader, the Thomas Cole National Historic Site serves as a catalyst for advancing the conversation in American art.

Featured Scholars

The featured scholars will be Linda Ferber, Director Emerita of the New-York Historical Society; Nancy Siegel, Professor of Art History at Towson University and co-curator of our 2023 special exhibition Women Reframe American Landscape; Sophie Lynford, the Annette Woolard-Provine Curator of the Bancroft Collection at the Delaware Art Museum; and our 2023 Class of Cole Fellows.
